Appointment of CFO and Interim CFO

Vistry has installed Robert Allen as interim CFO and executive director with immediate effect, maintaining finance leadership while it expects Helen Miles to take the permanent CFO role and join the Board during 2027.

Half year results for the period ended 30 June 26

Vistry reported a £661.3m H1 pre-tax loss (£83.3m adjusted), net debt of £468.8m and lower year-end cash guidance. It will halve regions and exit South East open-market housing, with around £470m of 2026 impacts. FY2026 adjusted profit is expected near £165m, excluding those impacts and a separate £40m partner-deal downgrade.

Trading Update

Vistry said FY2026 adjusted profit before tax will be in line with current market consensus, with company-compiled consensus at £200m. The group also reported a H1 sales rate of 1.03, a strong forward book of £3.9bn and 80% FY26 forward sold.

Resignation of Chief Financial Officer

Vistry Group says Chief Financial Officer Tim Lawlor has informed the Board he will step down and leave the company to take up a CFO role in another sector. He will remain until October, after the HY results and completion of the CEO review, to support an orderly handover.
