Kavango Resources has appointed Jasper Musadaidzwa as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director with immediate effect. Donald McAlister has stepped down as interim chief executive and non-executive chairman, becoming Executive Chairman.

Commissioning Commenced at Hillside Gold Project

Kavango Resources began commissioning its 50 tonnes-per-day Hillside gold plant on 1 July 2026, processing its own material and reaching 69% utilisation on 18-28 July.

Board and Management Changes

Peter Wynter Bee will step down as Interim CEO and Chairman on 1 July 2026. Donald McAlister will assume these roles while the search for a permanent leader continues. Thamsanqa Mpofu joins as Non-Executive Director, with Lorenz Werndle appointed as CFO.
