ITV plc said H1 financial performance was broadly in line with expectations, with total revenue up 2% and group adjusted EBITA flat. It announced a £100m buyback as an early return from the proposed sale of Media & Entertainment to Sky.
ITV has agreed to sell its Media and Entertainment business to Sky for up to £1.6bn, with £1.2bn cash at completion, a £200m Love Productions contribution and up to £200m contingent cash in H2 2028.
ITV has agreed to sell its media and entertainment business to Sky for up to £1.6bn, subject to customary closing adjustments. It has also launched a consent solicitation for its 2032 Notes and replaced Moody's with Fitch as a relevant rating agency.
