Half Year Results

Auto Trader said H1 2027 performance was in line with expectations, although revenue fell 1% to £313.4m and operating profit fell 1% to £198.5m; management maintained FY2027 operating-profit guidance of £395m–£415m and expects revenue growth to accelerate in the second half. The group returned £330m to shareholders and reported net debt of £320.0m at 30 September 2026, versus net cash of £5.2m a year earlier.
