TVL Train 1 Financing Update
Alkemy Capital Investments has received non-binding indicative terms for a senior secured facility of up to US$150 million to help fund Train 1 at its Billingham lithium hydroxide refinery. Together with the £18.3 million DRIVE35 grant Offer in Principle, the debt terms represent the majority of required funding, but equity is still needed.

Interim Results
Alkemy Capital Investments completed FEED for its first lithium refinery train, but the interim accounts flag a material uncertainty over going concern as funding execution is not assured. The £1.31m loss and £146,622 cash at 31 July 2026 underline the pressure, while a subsequent DRIVE35 grant offer of up to £18.3m remains conditional.

TVL to Establish Qualification & Validation Centre
Alkemy Capital is establishing a Billingham Qualification and Validation Centre so customers can test TVL’s battery-grade lithium hydroxide alongside development of Train 1. TVL expects this to shorten the time from first production to full commercial volumes, but the benefit remains forward-looking and is not assured.
